Turf Bond announces the Turf Bond single part, moisture cure urethane adhesive is now available for national use to the entire synthetic turf industry.
Originally developed by PrecisionJet for the assembly of synthetic turf graphics, Turf Bond is a moisture cure system, absorbing moisture from the atmosphere as well as dampness in the turf. Water misting decreases cure time, allowing for control of set time. Simply align and fold back the turf. Pull seam tape with Turf Bond along the length of the seam. Then mist the joint to start the curing process. No open time is required, once the adhesive is applied, the turf and seam tape can be assembled.
Turf Bond was first offered in 2007. It has been used internally by PrecisionJet since 2003. Turf Bond has been used in Professional, College and High School sports fields.
