Artificial grass and synthetic turf solutions have come a long way from the days of the stiff, un-yielding products of the 60s and 70s. New styles of synthetic grass are so close to the real thing that they are highly acceptable alternatives to using real grass for lawns, landscape and leisure sports.
The growing demands from consumers has created a drought in experienced installers to get the jobs built. To address the demand, Horizon Distributors, Inc will be hosting classes for landscape professionals lead by the Association of Synthetic Grass Installers (ASGi.us).
ASGi's 2 Day Certified Artificial Grass Installation course - June 17 & 18, 2009 - 8am to 5pm will be held at Horizon Distributors, Inc customer support center in Chandler, Arizona.
Day one is a multi-media experience to artificial grass surfaces, yarns, backing, infill along with job specifications, estimating and installation for lawns and landscape. Day 2 the students get hands-on experience when their build their own project.
The 12 hour course is lead by ASGi Certified Trainers, experienced, licensed contractors that teach from a real-world point of view how to select, design, estimate and install the perfect lawn or landscape using artificial grass solutions.
Contractors that wish to become ASGi Certified Builders can join ASGi as a General Member and complete an application, online.
